Well, I'm scraping by, WAS unemployed for close to three months after the st george arms (after david's) thank god i'm still living at home. started a new job 2day cooking at Anna's Tavolini Ristorante, a little italian place not far from my home. it gotta say, it feels good to have some sort of reasonable schedule again, to be employed and part of the larger world beyond myself. i badly need to get outta my headspace and begin interacting with other ppl again...been on my own for way too long...that coupled with watching too much House MD and *POOF* i've turned into a complete sarcastic/cynical/sardonic asshole lmao but then again, the worl

wow it's been so long since i've been on here....anyways! update for anybody who cares lol had a great five months at david's fine dining, the most important thing i learned is that culinary school taught me how to cook, but did *not* teach me how to work in a restaurant. two very important sides of the same coin. anyways, driving 110 clicks per day for a few hours work (things were extremely dead for a few months) proved to be way too much, i'm now working at a british pub about 20 minutes from my place and loving it. it's a challenge, i have to push myself EVERY DAY, and i wouldn't trade it for the world!
